a cup of kitsch

 

we recently had a board game night with friends. which is pretty dangerous for me because my competitive nature evil twin sister usually makes an appearance! our friends bought out the game ticket to ride... who would have thought a train game would be so much fun? the aim of the game was to make a continuous train journey between two destinations that each person was assigned. i'm ordering the europe game for future game nights!




it got me thinking about the train journey we took a few years ago - here are a few pics from the Milan Station (Stazione de Milano Central), and the last image we took waiting in Florence (Stazione de Firenze Centrale Santa Maria Novella). it really was great catching the train through italy. because the stations are right in the heart of town it's usually just a walk to your hotel instead of trying to catch a cab in a foreign language. ah the memories!
